25th anniversary at its Annual Banquet.

Villa San Marco Clubhouse at 7901 E. Heatherbrae Ave., near Old Town Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Catering by Uncle Sal’s Italian Restaurant
$20 per person
Our guest speaker will be Geoffrey Theiss. When Geoff was elected to a vacancy on The Urantia Book Fellowship’s General Council last year at the age of 26, he was probably the youngest person ever to serve. Geoff is a member of the Fellowship’s youth and Young Adult Committee (the YaYAs) and was on the committee of last year’s Fellowship conference in Amherst, Mass. A youthful indiscretion led to a spiritual awakening and discovery of The Urantia Book. Geoff will speak on how to attract younger readers to the book.
Another speaker will be GCS founding member Larry Bowman. As 2015 also marks the 60th anniversary of the publication of The Urantia Book, Larry will share what he expected would happen from the perspective of the youngest member of the Forum at the time the book was published in October 1955. (The Forum was the closed group that fostered the writing the Urantia papers in the 1920s and ’30s.) Larry has been on the General Council since 2010 and is Secretary General of the Fellowship.
If you are interested in attending, please contact Larry Bowman at tiglath25@gmail.com or (480) 947-8507 for further information.
