We are looking for more volunteers to help with Fall Highway Clean-up service project on Interstate 17 north of Phoenix on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Interested in helping? Contact us at gcsurantia@gmail.com. We’ll meet at 8:30 am at the Roadrunner Restaurant & Saloon parking lot at 47801 N. Black Canyon Hwy, New River, AZ 85087. After team leader, Bruce, gives us a brief “training,” we’ll divide ourselves into two groups—Northbound and Southbound between mile markers 234 and 235. Wear comfortable clothing, walking shoes, and wear a hat or visor. This is an adults only service project. This will be the first cleaning since the completion of the I-17 construction in the few years. Come and join us! We’d love to have your help.
